Connect to Mailchimp

Step-by-Step Tutorial: How to Get an API Key from Mailchimp


Step 1: Log in to Your Mailchimp Account

  1. Go to  Mailchimp's website 

  2. Click on "Log In" in the top right corner

  3. Enter your email and password to access your account



Step 2: Access Your Account Settings

  1. Once logged in, click on your profile icon in the bottom left corner of the dashboard




  2. From the dropdown menu, select "Account & billing"




Step 3: Navigate to the API Keys Section

  1. In the Account dashboard, look for the "Extras" menu

  2. Click on "API keys" 




Step 4: Create a New API Key

  1. If you don't have any API keys yet, you'll see a message about creating your first key

  2. Click on the "Create A Key" button



  3. Mailchimp will ask you to name your key (e.g., "Allsource")

  4. Click "Generate Key" to create your API key





Step 5: Copy Your API Key

  1. Once generated, your API key will appear as a long string of letters and numbers

  2. Click the "Copy" button next to the key to copy it to your clipboard

    ⚠️ Important: Store this key securely as Mailchimp won't show it to you again in full after you leave this page

Step 6: Enter API Key to Allsource

  1. Go to Allsource Integrations page

  2. Press on Mailchimp icon

  3. Paste the API key into the designated field.



  4. Click "Connect".
