Actions For Sources

Actions

The Actions menu allows you to take key operations on selected audiences or contact segments. Currently, the available actions include:

  • Create Lookalike

  • Remove

These tools help you expand or refine your audience lists based on your marketing goals.

🎯 Create Lookalike

This action allows you to generate a lookalike audience based on the selected users.

How it works:

  • The platform analyzes the behavioral and demographic patterns of the selected users (e.g., purchase history, visit frequency, device type).

  • A new audience is created containing similar users who have not yet converted or performed the same valuable action.

  • These lookalikes are ideal for targeting in Google Ads, Meta, or other platforms.

Use cases:

  • Find new users similar to your top customers

  • Scale ad campaigns with higher conversion potential

  • Use Builder or Smart Audience segments as seeds

Tip: The quality of your lookalike depends on the seed size and consistency β€” start with at least 100 high-quality users for best results.

πŸ—‘ Remove

This action allows you to manually remove selected users from a given audience or segment.

When to use:

  • Exclude users who should no longer be targeted (e.g. unsubscribed, opted-out)

  • Refine segments before exporting to ad platforms

  • Clean test or temporary data

Note: Removal does not delete the user from your entire system β€” it just unlinks them from the current audience or list.

βœ… Best Practices

  • Use Create Lookalike only on segments with high-quality conversions or clear intent.

  • Regularly remove outdated or invalid contacts to keep audiences fresh and compliant.

  • Combine Actions with filters to target/remove only specific subgroups (e.g. by date, platform, device).
