The Resolved Contacts section shows all users who have been successfully identified by the system — meaning their anonymous behavior (via pixel tracking) was matched to real contact information such as email, phone number.
When a visitor is tracked by your pixel, they are initially anonymous. A contact becomes resolved when:
They submit a form (email or phone collected)
They log in to your site or app
Their identity is matched via an external data sync (e.g. CRM or ESP)
They click a tracked email link or complete another identity-revealing action
You can retarget them in ad platforms like Google or Meta
You can sync them to CRMs or email tools
You gain visibility into their behavior history, including actions they took before being identified
In the Resolved Contacts list:
Email or phone (if available)
Date first resolved
Behavior history (viewed products, added to cart, converted)
Source (where they came from — domain, ad, UTM)
Assigned audiences or tags
Audience building: Create Smart Audiences using resolved users
Retargeting: Export or sync resolved contacts to ad platforms
Sales: Pass resolved leads to your sales team with full behavioral history
Attribution: Match conversions back to original campaigns/sources
Use filters to find resolved users by behavior, source, or date.
Combine with “Abandoned Cart” or “Viewed Product” events to target warm leads.
Check resolution rates to optimize identity collection (e.g. forms, email clicks).
